The New Jersey Association of Wildlife Rehabilitators (NJAWR) will be awarding scholarships to four NJAWR members for reimbursement to one of the following 2026 symposiums:
National Wildlife Rehabilitators Association Symposium
Pennsylvania Wildlife Rehabilitation & Education Conference
New York State Wildlife Rehabilitation Council Seminar
Call of the Wild Conference – Virginia
These may be in person or virtual
The funds for these scholarships have been donated by NJAWR.
NJAWR provides up to $500 in reimbursement to support members attending continuing education conferences. Eligible conference-related costs include registration fees and travel expenses (airfare, mileage, lodging)
Applicants must be current NJAWR members. Applications must be received by November 7th, 2025. Receipt of application is acknowledged via email. Scholarship recipients will be notified by email. Winners will be announced at the NJAWR Annual Meeting in January 2026.
Reimbursement checks/electronic reimbursement will be sent after proof of conference attendance. To receive reimbursement, members must submit (to Membership Committee Chair) receipts and documentation within 30 days of conference completion, along with a brief summary of how the conference content will benefit their work in wildlife rehabilitation.
